Sets the sheet in a place he can see it and puts the guitar on his leg, starting to set up and tune it.]

[ does the same with his bass, fiddling with the knobs and testing the strings out ]

[Making sure his sounds okay and strums a few scales just to be sure]

[ is doing the same before the sound finally pleases him and he adjusts his bass on his lap before waiting for you to finish ]

[nods a little, signalling that he's ready]

[ goes right into it, his fingers running along the strings as he plays ]

[Goes in as well, keeping time in his head and listening to the sound of them together]

[ he keeps playing, the tip of his shoe tapping against the ground as he plays

[Looking at that out the side of his eye and trying not to smile to keep his mind on what he's doing instead.]
